Join us for a new, stand-alone two-day Wildscreen Festival in Tanzania, one of the most actively filmed parts of the natural world. Building on the success of the Wildscreen Festival Nairobi 2023 and with support from BBC Studios Natural History Unit, we're proud to be hosting a new mini festival in Tanzania in partnership with AFRISOS, highlighting the importance of Tanzania and its storytellers, and cementing its position as a top wildlife filming destination in Africa. The programme will speak to our four content pillars: Craft, Business, Talent and Impact. When is Wildscreen Festival Tanzania?
Wildscreen Festival Tanzania will be held over 2 days, from 06 – 07 June.
How can I travel from Nairobi to Arusha by coach?
You can book a shuttle to Nairobi via our booking page! This will be leaving Nairobi on Wednesday 5th June at 14:00, the return to Nairobi will be on Saturday 8th June at 08:00.
The return journey costs roughly £32 ($41) per person.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Requests to transfer your ticket to an alternative person must be made in writing to hello@wildscreen.org.uk by the 30th May 2024. Such requests shall be approved or denied by Wildscreen in its sole discretion and a fee may be charged.
Do you offer bursaries?
Can I buy tickets on the door?
No, tickets must be purchased in advance due to health and safety and materials provisions.
What is the refund policy?
Once purchased or booked, tickets cannot be refunded or returned unless the event / screening is cancelled, moved to another date.
Am I eligible for the Concession Pass?
During the standard ticket pricing period, a special concession rate will be available at a massive 50% discount from the full pass price, to welcome an even wider audience to our Festival.
You are eligible for this rate if you fall under one of these categories:
· Under 25 years old
· Student in full-time education
· 65 years old or over
· Unemployed (for UK delegates, this is available only to those in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance and Employment Support Allowance)
· Residents of LDC countries (a full list be found here)

Can I volunteer at Wildscreen Festival Tanzania?
Yes, we love welcoming volunteers, and believe it is a great experience for all involved. We will advertise volunteer roles, covering a wide range of duties, closer to the event. All applicants must be available for work from Thursday 6th June to Friday 7th June.
I am an African resident. How do I access my free Wildscreen Festival 2024 Virtual Pass?
Attendees residing in African Countries receive a complimentary Virtual Ticket (worth £135) to Wildscreen Festival 2024.
Post-event all eligible attendees will be sent a booking code to access their complimentary virtual tickets.
Please note: The ticket is not transferable and can only be redeemed by the attendee, it is not valid to ticket holders who fail to attend Wildscreen Festival Tanzania.
Is there anything else I should know?
You should be aware that you may be photographed or filmed at times throughout the event and the recordings may be distributed.
Visitors must be aged 18 or over to attend Wildscreen Events. We reserve the right to seek confirmation of age if we consider it necessary and you agree to provide such proof of identity and age as we consider reasonably necessary from time to time.
Registration includes important Delegate Updates which we will send you via email as well as subscription to our year-round e-news. Delegate updates contain vital information about accessing the Festival in Tanzania. Should you not wish to receive this information, or our year-round e-news, please click on unsubscribe at the bottom of the last email received. We will never share your email or personal details with anyone else without your consent.
