Powerful leaders have long lived in the world's most untamed regions, but this is the tale of a new hero who is tough, intelligent, resilient, and... female. Queens tells a tale of sacrifice and resiliency, but also of friendship and love, by highlighting matriarchies and female leaders from all around the world. The series will follow a sisterhood of a particular animal in each of its six episodes, revealing unique feminine behaviours in six distinct animal communities: hyenas, elephants, ring-tailed lemurs, insects, primates and killer whales. A female led, landmark production from Wildstar Films for National Geographic. Please note that this is a separate event to Wildscreen: Science in Storytelling, and therefore a ticket to Wildscreen: Science in Storytelling does not permit entry to this event.
